Đồng hồ Quartz Movement (Đồng Hồ Chạy Pin/ Thạch Anh):
Máy đồng hồ chạy pin hay còn gọi là đồng hồ thạch anh, đo thời gian thông qua các dao động liên tục của miếng thạch anh khi có dòng điện chạy qua. Dòng điện chạy qua được cấp năng lượng từ pin nên kiểu máy này cũng có tên gọi là đồng hồ chạy bằng Pin.
Chính vì các dao động đều của thạch anh rất ổn định, nên các loại máy này rất chính xác khi dùng để đo giờ. Tuy nhiên chính vì dao động của thạch anh là một chu kì lên xuống rất nhanh, nên kim giây của đồng hồ điện tử di chuyển như nhảy (giật từng nhịp) trong một giây. Có rất nhiều trên thị trường, thường dùng để làm hàng giả, nhái theo các thương hiệu lớn của Đồng Hồ Thụy Sỹ như Tissot, Omega, Longine và Rolex.
- Máy xuất xứ từ Nhật Bản: Độ chính xác cao, độ bền trung bình. Thường được dùng nhiều trong các thương hiệu đồng hồ Nhật Bản như Casio, Seiko. Máy có độ bền cao hơn máy Trung Quốc hay Đài Loan, linh kiện cấu thành cũng cao cấp hơn.
- Máy Thụy Sỹ (Swiss Made, Swiss Movement): Máy được chế tác tinh xảo với tay nghề và kỹ thuật cao từ các hãng sản xuất đồng hồ lâu đời từ Thụy Sỹ (như nhà sản xuất máy đồng hồ trứ danh ETA SA thuộc tập đoàn The Swatch Group). Linh kiện cao cấp và đắt tiền. Thường được gắn trong các loại đồng hồ xa xỉ và nổi tiếng với thương hiệu Thụy Sỹ. Chất lượng và độ bền cao, độ chính xác gần như tuyệt đối.
